The police are also failed to find out the reason for these shootings and now once again more incidents made the headlines the news. As per the latest report, 2 people were assassinated and 1 was wounded after a person opened fire the incident happened on Thursday evening, 16th June 2022 at an Alabama church. Shane Ware, the Captain of Vestavia Hills Police stated officers responded to reports of an active gunman at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church which is in Vestavia Hills in Alabama.

The incident was reported at 06:22 PM local time. He further added that the police is successful to arrest a suspect who is currently in custody and that there were no further menaces to the community. Ware stated to the media outlet on Thursday, “From what we have collected from the situations of this evening, a single suspect take the entrance to the small group church meeting and started opened firing.” Though Ware did not recognize the gunman or say it the detectives had determined the motive behind this shooting.

As already mentioned above 2 people lost their lives and 1 person is badly injured he is presently admitted to the local hospital and being treated. People wanted to know the name of the suspect and the victims of this incident though the identities of the sufferers or the current medical condition of the wounded person were not instantly available. The Bureau of Alcohol, The FBI, Tobacco, the United States Marshals Service, and Firearms are helping in the probe. As per the website of the Church, There was a feast planned between 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM on Thursday, 16th June 2022. The employee of Bishop Glenda Curry of the Episcopal Diocese’s office which is Alabama state that they are appealing to the community to come together in the support of the sufferers and their family. Rev. Kelley Hudlow stated, “We are Episcopalians and we have faith in Jesus and we also have faith that the prayers will aid. Presently we are praying for the safety and healing of all those who have been affected and badly impacted.”
