She was a veteran Deputy Leader of the House and an Awami League leader and a main political personality who was one of the best-known lady and national leaders of the country of Bangladesh. She always remains in the news due to her political work but this time she is in the news due to her death news. She took her last breath at the medical institution which is located in Dhaka and she was 87 years old. On Sunday, 11th September 2022, she was handed away in Combined Military Hospital at around 11:40 PM and her passing news is officially confirmed by her son named Shahab Akbar Chowdhury Labu.

The assistant of Sajeda named Benazir Ahmed stated that the politician was suffering from high blood pressure issues and other health issues which were happened due to her old age and then her family decided to shift her to the hospital for better care by the end of the last month (August). Benazir also shared the information about her last rites and stated that her funeral prayers will be organised at the South Plaza of parliament at around 11:00 AM on Monday, 12th September 2022. The dead body of the late MP was already taken to her electorate, Nagarkanda of Faridpur in the afternoon.

Sheikh Hasina the Prime Minister of one of the parties stated that she was the most trusted companion, Sajeda Chowdhury had been engaged with the Awami League in the year 1956. She was the role model for many ladies who think that they can never do anything in their life and she is the inspiration for today’s generation.
