Gold Coast is flat in an evident murder-suicide at the hands of her spouse. Sania Khan who resided in Tennessee shifted to Chicago in the month of June 2021 and she had been vocal about her struggles with divorce. She talked about her struggle on social media platforms. As per the police report, the photographer, Sania Khan was discovered dead in her flat on the 200 block of East Ohio Street around 04:30 PM Her dead body was found on Monday, 18th July 2022 after police officers answered a well-being check at the house.

The police officers knocked on the door and after that, they heard the voice of the single bullet shot along with the voice of a man moaning. The police officers instantly entered the flat and discovered the dead body of Khan with having a gunshot injury to the head and the 36-years-old, Raheel Ahmed who was lying in the bedroom, also not responsive with having a head wound and a weapon was seen in his hand. The police declared her dead at the crime scene, whereas Ahmed was instantly admitted to the Northwestern Hospital, where he was also declared dead. Ahmed and Khan were going to part ways. The Alpharetta Police Department which is in Georgia stated that her family Ahmed had reported him disappearing. and the office of the Cook County medical examiner stated that Ahmed was a citizen of Alpharetta. The death of Khan was stated as a murder by the office of the medical examiner and the death of Ahmed was ruled as a suicide due to the injury of the gunshot. The exact reason for his drastic step is not known yet. Police are currently investigating the matter and as soon as they will released anything we will update this section.
