Is currently 72 years old and he was born on April 5, 1950, he also served as the chief organization for the Sri Lanka freedom party from 1984 to 2000. Was the minister of industrial development from 2006 to 2010 and you also acted as a transport minister in the second term.

He won many elections and was a regular face in the Parliament and he had taken some really advanced steps to improve the situation of his constituency. A lot of information is not available regarding that accident and it is only reported that he had a very e threatening situation he was immediately taken to the Intensive Care Unit and some photos are also available. There has been no official statement by the local authorities or by his family but some of his friends are expressing their thoughts and support.
