Shooting Reported At Sanford High School
As per the reports, this call was received around 8:20 am at the Sanford regional communication centre on Tuesday 15th of November 2022. After the police received a call from the school stating that there is an ongoing shooting they rushed to the place without any delay. The caller also said that he/she was a teacher and they were inside a bathroom and the door was locked as there is a shooting held in the school. After the police invaded the school and looked out for the shooter and they found nothing. In the call, the caller/ teacher claimed that there were people injured as well in the shooter, but there was no one injured.
No One Was Injured At Sanford High School Shooting
The teacher who called the police also claimed that there was a shooter in the school who was wearing a black coat and also had guns but there was no one who looked like a shooter or had any guns as well. The number as per the police was untraceable and the person as well as unknown or someone who was not known to the school. As soon as the police arrived they transferred the students of the school to a place where there was no danger near the gym. Later the police revealed that parents of the children without an hour of school get started were asked to pick up their children from the nearby gym school.
Who Is The Suspect?
Police have also added that the number which was used in calling was untraceable and also it was used in making the calls and the number was unknown to anyone as well. Gardiner and Portland schools also received various calls which were giving similar details and said that there was a shooter but there was nothing related to the shooter or anything related to the shooting. Police have said that the shooter is suing hoax calls to district the police and that those calls were just fake. Police added that they responded to the surrounding areas as well as the school with similar reports and police are working to find the motive behind the call and also find the caller as well. Apart from that, the rescue teams, firefighters and police units as well were all gathered at Sanford place and it was reported that the police were going through each and every place to find the shooter. Memorial gym was packed because parents gathered there to pick their children up. Parents described the situation as panicking as they were called at an emergency to pick their children up. Reports have claimed that Stanford school, Sanford technical centre and all the classes as well will be cancelled on Wednesday to continue the investigation.
