Brent Pope Death Reason
As per the report, an ex-Great Britain player passed away on Tuesday, 1st November 2022. At the time of passing, he was 49 years old and his death news is quite shocking for his fans. His passing news is officially asserted by his team Ice Hockey United Kingdom. According to the reports, Pope who had come back to North America was suffering from cancer at the start of this year, and he was diagnosed in Canada. Cardiff Devils made a Tweet which reads that “The Cardiff Devils are quite sad to learn the passing news of ex-Devil Brent Pope earlier today after an eight-month tough fight with cancer.

“Pope played, managed and coached the club over the career that spanned more than 1 decade in Cardiff and 18 British ice hockey.” Team GB Ice Hockey is also paying tribute to him and sending their condolences to his family who is presently devastated by the sad death news. Team GB also released a statement that reads that “Ice Hockey UK and Great Britain ice Hockey would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and pals of ex-GB player Brent Pope who died on Tuesday, 1st November 2022.”

As we mentioned above the cause of his demise is cancer. On 25th March 2022, St Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton informed the former hockey player that he was suffering from kidney cancer. He visited the clinic of the doctor after complaining about a cough, and he get many symptoms which he decide to show the doctor. He visited the hospital and informed the doctor that he was getting blood in his urine and mild nausea. The doctor take the necessary test in which he found that he was suffering from kidney cancer as well as a urinary tract infection. The details of his last rites are not out yet but once we get them we will update this section. As of now, we just only have this many details as soon as we get them we will update this section.
