He was known for his works and poems over decades, but he had deep cowboy roots that often were seen in his poems and storytelling. He is known as a celebrity and a high-profile storyteller. Many heartwarming messages were sent to the family after Baxter’s death. Baxter was known for his poems in the 1960s but due to certain circumstances he was also pursuing his doctorates, he completed his graduation in the 1980s, while he was still doing poetry. While doing the graduation he was directly involved in the ranching world. Rural Americans came to know bout him and his poetry as he performed at the FFA functions and at several western and cowboy events.

He gained a lot of fame after appearing on the tonight show with James Carson, after which he appeared on a number of Television shows. Officially Baxter retired in 2021, until then he was appearing on TV shows, doing poetry, writing books, etc. he was always busy with his stuff and was producing things until his old age. Cindy and Baxter are husband and wife, who met each other at the annual convention of the Arizona cattle growers association. As of now only the death information is out, and Baxter died this Friday, that is the 10th of June 2022. He was 77 years old and many are depict that he died due to blood leukemia. As of now, no relevant information about the death is out. He was survived by his wife only. The death might be because of leukemia, but nothing can be said.
