Oliviera said that Correia was having health issues and it was the reason behind her death. She said that Correia suffered from health issues after she got her tonsils removed back in March. While she was getting operated on for the removal of tonsils and after five days of the removal of tonsils, Correia suffered from hemorrhage. The news was published that her health was downed after the surgery, by the Daily Mail and the statement was given by Oliviera.

According to Oliviera, Correia was in a coma for two months and she was having n neurological activity. Correia’s roots were from Brazil and she worked as a model for many years until she won the competition in 2018. According to the statement that Oliviera gave, Correia suffered from a heart attack which was caused as a result of a lot of blood loss and she eventually ended up in a coma for two months starting in April. After two months on the 21st of June 2022, the pageant died while she was still in a coma. Miss United organizations sent their prayers and condolences to the family of the deceased and highlighted that Correia will be missed hardly.

The spokesperson of the organization said that all of the organization extends condolences to the family of Correia, and her mentor as well. Correia’s family said in the Instagram post that they will arrange the wake on the same day which is the 21st of June 2022 and the funeral of their princess Correia will be held on the 22nd of June, Wednesday. The girl was loved by her family endlessly. Correia shared pictures on her Instagram and she also worked as a beautician. She also used to share her outfits and her modeling posts and pictures on Instagram.
